Now, I'm sure there are a hundred ways to overcome writer's block. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've read a dozen articles scrawled with promises of overcoming this major struggle. Here are my personal tips that help me every time...
3. Write on your phone. I know this sounds random, but writing on your phone forces you to write slower. With every new line, old lines disappear, making progress seems faster and each sentence feels more manageable.
2. Go somewhere new. Simply leave your normal work space and write somewhere you're not used to.
1. Finally, my greatest tip of all. Coffee! That's right, I work my fastest and best when I'm on a major caffeine buzz.
Now, how to combine all three?
Go to Starbucks, order something in a venti, and leave your laptop at home. Three in one! Plus... you know... coffee.
